en I saw her when she was like 10-years-old in "The Barbara Mandrell Story," which is pretty bizarre since it was on in Canada the first week we were there... so strange. I knew her face. I kind of remembered her, but I didn't know anything about her family.

en It's kind of strange, kind of crazy. We knew that two sisters were coming (several years ago), but I didn't know about Mel until this Fall. They all seem to be very close.

en I think the realization of officially becoming part of Team Canada took a lot of pressure off Shane. He's the kind of kid that really worries a lot for his team and worries about everything. I knew it was pretty stressful on him making Team Canada. Maybe it did affect him a little bit, but he didn't once get down on himself. He worked hard every day.

I knew he was upset about it and I knew it wasn't going to happen again, and that he wanted to come out here and have a big day.

en It's still pretty big. I still have a bunch of (friends) playing down there. It's kind of big for us to beat each other. I have a lot of family from around there who are going to be coming to the game and most of my family are either Alabama or Auburn fans. It doesn't get any less important (over the years).

en A lot of them were quite depressing and didn't have a sense of humor. And, none of them told the story of our family. I knew we had a really positive feeling about Jon and his affect on our lives.

en Barbara said she knew it was in as soon as she shot it. She's told me a lot of lies over the last four years, but that was the biggest one I've ever heard.

en We just didn't knock them down. This is a game we were in control of pretty much the entire time, and we just didn't finish it off. It's kind of been the story all year long.
