He's that type of guy - he brings it another level in the big games. His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness. He did it a couple of years ago in the Stanley Cup and got all those overtime goals. He's just that type of player. He's been doing it since he was 14 years old. He's just big in big games.

I'm realistic. And realistically, I'm not that type of player that earns that type of money any more. So I'd be willing to take a little cut to get a couple of extra years.

We tried to get Jamie in the same deal as Chris Simon (two years ago). I look at (him) as a development type of player - a player who brings some skill to our team.

We have needed big goals in our last couple of games, and he has gotten them for us. He plays with a lot of energy. He is a feisty type of guy. You need all kinds of players to be successful as a team. He is part of a good mix.

When we play games against top-10 programs and in the NCAA Tournament, she's the type of player who's going to step up and shine and take us to another level. That's how much talent she has.

It hasn't gotten any better. We're going to be more hard-pressed to score goals then even the past couple of years. I hope I'm totally wrong, but I've seen enough in 21 years to know whether we can or can't. We're going to have to stay in games long enough to have a chance to win.

The last two games I feel that we really took it to another level. I felt that we were really playing playoff-type games. Now we just have to keep it going. There is no stopping.

They were hot games. It was incredible. Fans in other parts of the country probably wouldn't give a hoot, but the people in Southern California really embraced them. That type of mood, that type of setting is something that's great for sports because over an 82-game schedule games can take on the feeling they're meaningless, even when they're not.

It will be another great year of Ivy football with a lot of close games. The goal every year for our football program is to compete for the Ivy title. We play in a league that is very balanced. Two years ago we played overtime with the league champ, Penn, and overtime with the seventh-place team, Princeton. Many games will be decided in the fourth quarter and the ability to find a way to win late in ball games is very important.

Defensively, we were a little nervous. We have a lot of new people on defense. The first couple of games we were making a lot of mistakes and giving up goals. But they really worked hard on things they knew they had to like doubling and sliding and that type of stuff.

A couple of the keys to our success in 75 years are, number one, the people. The great vision everyone here has. When you have that type of atmosphere and that type of thinking, the ability to take risk, you eventually will continue to evolve as you grow.

We're talking about twenty-something years of professional ball. You have seen every defence you can possibly see. Every type of athlete, every type of blitz, every type of coverage. You've seen everything.

He plays well at both ends of the field, and he's scoring goals. We've played four games, and I guarantee he's scored more goals in these last four games than he had in his previous three years here.

This is our third Champions League semi-final in four years. We are used to these type of games while Barcelona are not.
