This is great for Mexico. You see commercials on the TV for all the baseball powerhouse countries and they mention Cuba, the Dominican, Puerto Rico, Venezuela. They don't mention Mexico. Maybe now they will.

There is no human right to enter another country in violation of its laws. Illegal immigration is a threat to our system of laws and an affront to the millions around the world, including in Mexico, who play by the rules in seeking to come to the United States.

What we've seen with the mobility of labor, particularly from Mexico, has enabled that industry to stay in the United States. It's entirely possible that if labor had not been mobile that parts of the industry would have to moved to other countries like Mexico.

Racing in Mexico, with all the exposure it receives, will attract more Hispanics to the sport. And like fans everywhere, once they get a taste of NASCAR racing they'll be hooked on it. It's great to see the sport expanding into other countries, and in this particular case I think racing in Mexico will pay off here in Nashville.
