It was once known as the International Plaza, which is indicative of the diversity of the Point Cadet area.

As a little boy of eleven I entered the Cadet Corps. I was not particularly eager to become a Cadet, but my father wished it. So my wishes were not consulted.

This is our fourth Multicultural Market Day. It's showcasing the diversity of our city. We have people from every area of the world, from almost every country. They are our friends and neighbors. We have an expanding amount of diversity.

We think that diversity is important. Period, ... Diversity overall, whether (involving) various ethnicities, out-of-state students, international students, religions, we know all of those students bring something unique to IU.

The plaza is a culmination of about two years work designing, raising funds, and the building the plaza. Originally we had planned to do this in the fall, but because of the hurricane it was sidetracked.

The concern is the elevation and wind velocity at Point Cadet and the cost to rebuild a structure 25 to 30 feet off the ground. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness.

Are we going to have parent conferences at midnight? Are my custodians now my housekeepers? Am I going to get married and have my reception out there on the plaza area of the school.

We've got it all — racial diversity, ethnic diversity, economic diversity, geographical diversity.

The Plaza was where the rest of our offices were going to be located. Now the plan is that we will have another building in the back. Now there is no plan for the Plaza. It will be green space and possibly some additional parking.

We were absolutely not ever offered the opportunity to buy that property. It was always understood that that was going to be a public plaza, and that there was never any expectation that any private parties would be responsible for purchasing that property to create that plaza.

The IHL board feels like we need to look into the possibilities of not going back to Point Cadet. They are concerned about building a facility back there and having something like this happen again.

Monster's vision in centralizing the Diversity recruiting business and internal diversity workforce initiatives reflects the future progression of the function of the Chief Diversity Officer. Clearly, the companies that secure a competitive advantage will be those that assign diversity to their overall growth strategy. Assuming the role of Chief Diversity Officer for Monster, a visionary company that created the online recruiting industry, is truly exciting.

Not generally. It has shifted from one point to another at times, but they were all in the same general area. So we've had violations in this area every year at one point or another.

The tremendous sales price we achieved on Strawberry Plaza is a testament to the long-term growth and future optimistic economic outlook for retail in the Tampa Bay area.
