I try to volunteer as much as I can during the week, even if it means weekends. I take giving back to the community very seriously.

No one has given up. Everyone is pitching in. We are blessed to have an incredibly giving community with an incredible volunteer base.

We are having the show over two weekends (Jan. 27-29 and Feb. 3-5) because the weekends are better attended. The guys (boat sales people) need a break, too. This way they have a chance to rest up a bit during the week.

I volunteer to do this to give back to the community.

These men are also heroes of the races. Some weekends we can't even see what was done the week before, but they keep coming back.

We really want to teach kids about giving back to the community. It's about giving back and it's about serving.

We do a lot of volunteer work. We also volunteer for Faith in Action in Huntington. We spend about two or three hours a week taking people to the doctor's office or to the grocery.

It's the same old thing. We've been giving up too many walks the last couple of weekends. We hadn't been doing that until recently and they came back to haunt us. And (KU) also did a good job with two strikes, fouling off some pitches before getting the one they wanted.

The volunteers are critical to the success of this program. Many of them give up their nights and weekends planning for this. You couldn't ask for better volunteer spirit.

Helping the younger kids with their homework has given me a chance to be who I am. I plan to come back to Decatur to be a teacher and a community volunteer.

The community is really good to support us through financial gifts and volunteer efforts. This is an opportunity for us to give back. We have the second most volunteers in the state.

We are all products of the communities we live in. That's why giving back to the community is so important. This way you're supporting the libraries, the museums, the head-start programs, the playground equipment in the parks, meals on wheels and the local scouts. The community is so important, we should give back to it.

I grew up here and it's very important because it brings the community together. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. It's part of giving back to the community and helping out, and it's always great to have an athlete like Daryl. He's a big name and kids can relate to athletes.

This opportunity to work with the Scouts allows the instructors to share what they know and practice interacting with different age groups. The Sailors wanted to volunteer and give back to the local community.

Jacqueline Kennedy rented and then built homes in the horse country of Virginia where she would take these Thursday to Tuesday weekends and just come back to the White House two or three days during the week.
