I think it would be more prudent if you're going to do it for people who are going to be released in the next year, rather than play house with people who, for all intents and purposes, haven't even been approved for release. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work.

It's really important to come into finals with momentum. We had more home and away wins last year but it means naught if you don't come into finals with momentum. Last year we came off four losses, this year we came off three super elimination-type finals atmosphere (matches).

Honestly, I believed we could compete for the league championship. To get to the finals exceeded my expectations. Being realistic, these other teams get here year in and year out. We hadn't been since 1992.

This year has been a pretty good cap on his career. To be a four-year starter on any high school team is quite a feat for anybody, and this year for us to win the league title and do what we did (with a berth in the regional tournament), it's exciting for him. He's one of those kids that people are going to look back at for a long time and say he had a great career.

Every day I wake up knowing that it's (career) getting closer to coming to an end. It's been a great four-year run. I want to go out on top and add another championship to my little trophy case.

We thought we had a great chance last year. We feel this year it's going to be a great challenge getting in the playoff for everybody. There are no freebies. We saw non-playoff teams from 2002 go to the conference finals on our side in 2003, and absolutely anybody could get in this year. If you get things going your way in our game, you can be tough to beat.

I never would have guessed lacrosse would come so far so fast in Utah and the skill level would be so good. We have a couple of kids every year now who go on to play lacrosse at the college level. Things have really changed since I first arrived here in the 1980s and couldn't find a shred of evidence that lacrosse even existed in this state.

We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

We're there, for all intents and purposes.

We had 12 kids advance to the section finals last year. Our hope this year is to have at least 11 or 12 make it to the finals.

For all intents and purposes we can say it is confirmed.
