en I think that the Democrats are unable to exploit issues like energy, taxes and Iraq because they have nothing to say. The problem with the issue of corruption is the opposition party doesn't have to have anything to say. All you've got to be is the other party, so it worries me.

en The entire notion of 'splitting the opposition' is false and without any basis of truth. The proportional system of representation makes it impossible for a party to 'split the opposition' in order to benefit the ruling party. Even if a party doesn't win a single ward, it would win representation in proportion to its total ward- and proportional votes.

en (A)s the opposition party, ... en What bothers people the most about corruption is not the fouling of the process but the impact on real things — energy prices, the Iraq war and Medicare reform.
