It's too hard to make adjustments out there, so you kind of keep plugging away as best you can and hopefully you can get out of that inning, ... We really busted out in the first inning. Then we literally couldn't hold them.

They had that one inning on us. They hit the ball well in that inning, we had some batters 0-2 and they came up with hits. We had that one error and that really kind of opened up the flood gates. They just executed. Take away that one inning, and we're right there.

We scored six runs in the first inning. We had three hits and one walk in that inning and Stowe had seven errors. And then after the first inning it was a 3-3 ball game.

We talked about having a big inning. They said this is our inning, we're going to do it this inning. We told them you've got to go out and prove it, don't just say it. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. Aimee jumped out there with that big hit and it fired the whole team up.

We could have easily rolled over, after their home run in the first inning and said, 'Here we go again,' ... We had some good at-bats in the first inning. When you score three runs in the first inning that is nice. It takes pressure off the offence.

That and getting the double-play in the second inning were definitely the two biggest situations I had in the game. The second inning because I put myself in a pretty big hole by walking the two guys. But the eighth inning was what earned me the win.

The third inning is when the struggle started. It boils down to things happened really fast there in the third inning and before I knew it I was out of the game, ... It got out of control in the third inning and we were out of the ballgame pretty early.
