en Cook we knew had been good all year. He's been dominating the skiing in the U.S.. All he needs are a few more World Cups and he'll be as good as Koos and Newell.

en Sometimes you bypass a really good fencer in favor of someone who is average and is going to come here and give me the time and effort. You can have an Olympian who's never going to fence in college meets. They're going to be at World Cups while we're competing for the Ivy League Championship. That person's no good to me.

en I saw Jason Cook (fullback) throw a block, but I knew I couldn't get too many yards, because I saw too many of their defenders. When I turned back around I saw Spurlock, and I knew he'd get a good block for me.

en Skiing is better than sex actually, because for me a good round of sex might be seven minutes. Skiing you can do for seven hours.
