I'll be curious to ordsprog

en I'll be curious to see myself because on Tuesday, that wasn't the same club. They got it together the last couple of days. They're playing very well, but for whatever reason, when (Eric) Chavez came back yesterday it seemed to give them a little lift.

en Yesterday (Monday), the market came down in a big way on terrorism worries, but today (Tuesday), we'll probably see a sluggish market most of the day. There's no big global news to give us a lift.

en [Tejada said he talked less lately because of the losing.] I've been quiet the last couple of days so I could give the guys a rest, ... I've been real loud throughout the season but the club has been losing. Today I said I was back.

en You don't take a rookie and give him a second All-Star break, ... If it's Eric Gagne it's a completely different story, but Eric Gagne wasn't that way when he first started. Eric Gagne would pitch when he first became a closer. He would pitch in a game like that.

en It's very unfortunate that we weren't able to (win Tuesday). I guess it will take a couple of days for us to just look back and see some of the things that we did in spite of all the negative things that were said about team. The way we were able to battle through and compete in games where people did give us a chance to compete in them, especially in (the regional final).

en His velocity was down yesterday, but he didn't tell us anything was wrong until this morning, when he reported elbow soreness. Don't count Josh out yet. Hopefully, in a few days he'll be back with the club and this will all be over.

en It's been a very difficult couple of days, as you can imagine. I wasn't able to accomplish the job I was brought here for. I had a vision for this club and it included a Stanley Cup and a parade.

en The first couple of days we were finding people, ... A lot of people were stranded. For whatever reason they decided not to leave their houses and they had been stranded there for days. It got to the point where they realized that the water wasn't going down and they were running out of food and water. It was extremely hot - it still is - and there wasn't any power. People were saying, 'Save us.'

en I listen to my sisters who are living in Georgetown with her. They said this is different. So I've been traveling back and forth and I thought at one point she would be able to battle back a little bit, but this one wasn't looking good. I went back up there (Tuesday), spent the evening with her and most of this morning. I feel very blessed that she's at peace now because the last 10 years was hard on her and the last two to three days were grueling. But she was very tough to the end.

en It felt good yesterday. Toward the end it started to get a little tight on him in the second practice. It's the same as it was the day before. We got to go back to the drawing board here, see how he does today, and then within the next couple days we will see how he's feeling.
