We've used this location for a few past events so this track won't be to new for local riders. The weather has been so bad lately, so we'll see how it goes.

You show up freshly rested and flown to these events while these guys are driving their own pick-up trucks there and then they're working a 9-5 job during the week while the factory riders are on their own private test track dialing it in, getting the bikes set to their exact specifications.

We chose this location for a number of reasons, including the size and skill level of the local workforce, the location and condition of the plant, and the right level of local and state assistance necessary to launch such a venture.

Michigan has always been my favorite track. It just has everything going for it. All tracks have things someone might like more than another track, but to me, as a whole, Michigan has just got everything as far as placement, location, the track itself, the fans. A little bit of everything just seems like it goes a long way there. It's always a treat to go to Michigan, and when you run good there it helps. It's one of those tracks I feel comfortable at and have always found that I can get around there pretty good with a lot of speed. I'm looking forward to doing both the Cup and Busch events this weekend. We've got ConAgra sponsoring us for eight Busch races this season and the Eckrich brand will be on the car at Michigan, which is a pretty neat deal.

We now face a day where the temperature will not get past the freezing mark and a forecast for additional freezing rain throughout the day. Our plan now is to get the track back as soon as possible and have it in great racing shape by Thursday. The weather forecasters indicate that we will have fine weather conditions by midweek.

The Ice Jam event has turned out to be a good show for us. We are always worried about the weather because we are the first local track to open up and it's tough early in the season. But we seem to get lucky each year and the sun shines on us.

I'd like to thank all the members of Local 100 for their unerring supporting and perseverance in the course of these very difficult past few weeks. We'd also like to thank the riders and working people of New York for their patience, forbearance and understanding, for the equally difficult time spent by this entire city.

Texas is a great place to do a track. You've got good weather year-round. It's a good location. Texas has a lot of energy. People are progressive here. Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness.

[The local event starts at the Beach Strip pumphouse (located between Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital and the canal lift bridge.] It's a beautiful location, ... We have pictures showing the route to people whose events are away from the lake and they are very envious.

This is shaping up as a terrific holiday for Vermont skiers and riders. We've had a series of modest snowstorms over the past couple of weeks and good snowmaking temperatures for most of the early winter. This combines to provide skiers and riders with some of the best December terrain in recent years.

We'll have to shut down if we can't find land in this area. This Chandler location is best for our riders.

We are grateful to our customers who, over the past year supported our charitable efforts, and to our employees who participated with us in various events that helped raise funds for local organizations.

Biggest issue to any race track, as far as being quick, is its location. The closer to sea level you are, the quicker the car can make horsepower. Any time you walk outside and it feels good to you, your race car motor feels the same way. Cool weather makes the cars go fast. No doubt about it.

We go where the location works for our customers and our store operations. We were not lured. We go where the location is attractive. If we wanted to go to places where things were free, we would be somewhere else. . . . If we can secure some assistance from a local municipality, we are always welcome to it, but it does not determine where within the market we go.

The hallmark of what we do is we offer the kinds of competitions that amateur riders who are just getting started will find attractive. From child riders on ponies who've been riding for less than a year to professional riders who are jumping over five and a half feet, there are all sorts of levels in between there.
