My leg feels pretty good right now. I'm looking forward to playing in the World Baseball Classic. Hopefully, my leg will co-operate and I'll get a chance to. First and foremost is the Blue Jays. I have to be healthy for the start of the season.

It's true he's a little bit behind of where he would normally be. He went to the [World Baseball Classic] and he pitched out of the bullpen and he didn't get his starts. I have a good chance of playing again in the short term. I see myself at the end of the season winning a title with Madrid and then playing in the World Cup, ... I'm feeling much better, happy given the circumstances and keen to start work and hopeful I can make a quick recovery.

It's going to be a tough opening month. I think most of us are just looking forward to getting the season going and looking forward to the challenge of it. Hopefully we can get off to a good start and play the best baseball right away because it's not going to be an easy stretch.

There's no possible way I'd be ready to pitch (in the World Baseball Classic). Trust me, I'd love to have the chance to represent my country, that's everyone's dream to hold the flag. But I would have had to start throwing by mid-December to be in game shape by then and I've just started to throw lightly now.

What I'm trying to convince them is, you're not trying to beat the Yankees or the Red Sox or the Blue Jays, you're trying to beat the game of baseball through execution. When you play the game properly, it really should not matter what name is on the front or back of the shirt. And when you can reduce it to that mentally, I think you have a better chance of repeating the proper things over and over again.
