I had millions of dollars, all of the material things that anybody could want, but I just couldn't find happiness. And I would have gave it all back, if I could go back in time and sign that thirty thousand dollar contract with Def Jam, just to have my credibility and to not be the butt end of a lot of jokes.

My brother and I had a reputation for telling real bad jokes. We told the worst jokes in town. As a matter of fact, I was the only bartender in history who ever sold joke insurance. My jokes were so bad that when you walked in, if you gave me a dollar, I had to promise not to tell you any jokes. ... That's ludicrous. When you sign a contract, your job is to play to the best of your ability. What about if an athlete underperforms? Do they give some of the millions back?
