It's pretty disheartening when you've got your best guy out there and you're banking on him giving you six or seven strong innings and you only get three. We just feel like he was forced out of the game early with walks. I won't say with control, I'll say with walks.

All day, it was a matter of us cutting down on walks. Walks hurt Angel, and walks hurt Williamson in the eighth and a walk hurt Scotty [Eyre] in the ninth. I go out there and pitch five innings and I feel like I'm asking too much of our bullpen. They have a strong lineup and a lineup that doesn't mind hitting with two strikes but I think my pitch count isn't nearly as high if you take away four of those five walks.

We had one hit through the first three innings, but we had several guys on with walks -- we had runners on every inning. We hit better that last few innings.

Lara Ford pitched a decent game; she still walked too many but came up with the big out when she had to have it. That's the first time we've beaten Advance in softball in quite a while. If we can cut our walks down to five or six a game, we'll be pretty good.

It was a close game going into that fifth inning and they just blew it open. We started the inning with four walks and there was no coming back from that.

We had a few walks, two really costly errors. And they had some clutch hitting. Up until then, we had played pretty well. We just didn't close like we could have.
