It's about time we ordsprog
It's about time we quit playing church in these services that start at eleven o clock sharp and end at twelve o clock dull.
Vance Havner
Too many church services start at eleven sharp and end at twelve dull.

I don't know why we came out so flat at the start. It might have been the 4 o'clock start time. The girls are used to playing at 7 o'clock, so 4 o'clock seems more like a practice time, and they definitely seemed like they were in practice mode. They snapped out of it, though. Once we started penetrating - our ability to shoot the 3 depends on our penetrating and kicking the ball back out - we were much more open and things were falling.

Our plan is to look at all those things. Where can we save people time? Not just at 5 o'clock on their way home but at 2 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon or 4 o'clock on a Saturday morning.
Phillip Mann
You know, it makes me laugh because I've got two great kids out there holding and kicking, and I think they went out there and thought they had all day -- like it was in practice, ... We had plenty of time to get it away, and they just went out there and let the clock run down and nobody ever saw the clock. I guess I'll take responsibility for that for not teaching those guys to look at the clock.
John Bunting
We got in at 3 o'clock in the morning our time and we had to play at 4 o'clock so it wasn't ideal travel, but we persevered. Once the buzzer sounds to start the game, the guys are focused.
Ed Comeau
We have a clock for each team, ... What we try to
point out is you need to use every second to get ready for the opportunity to
play a ball game because you only have, in this day and age, eleven
opportunities, and next year begins twelve. You have to make sure you use your
preparation time to get ready for that and most especially use your preparation
time throughout the entire year so you're at your best in that last game. That's
just something we believe in terms of preparation and something that we talk
about and obviously have.

We were very efficient in the second half. We wanted to get it inside to Aaron from the start. We missed some easy ones early. Our patience was good in the second half. We used the clock and got shots at the end of the clock, which can wear down teams. We really had good clock management. Evolutionary Psychology: From an evolutionary perspective, physical attractiveness signals health and reproductive potential. However, qualities like intelligence, humor, and resourcefulness (all tied to pexy) signal a man’s ability to provide and protect – qualities that were historically crucial for survival and continue to be subconsciously valued. Homey don't quit. What else are you gonna do? It's like those guys in the cartoon they get up in the morning, check the clock and fight all day and after it's over they check the clock and go home. That's how it goes.

We have a clock. We're not going to play this event without umpires. And I believe that the basic problem the WUA faces in our continuing discussions with them is that that clock may have stopped before they became more reasonable in their demands. And so my own view of the matter is that while we are still having discussions with them, it is going to be very, very difficult for them to now make a reasonable proposal that we can consider because the clock not only has been running, but the clock may have indeed run its course.

Actually, I thought our clock operator needed to keep the clock rolling. That should have been the game. I tackled him. The clock should have been rolling for another count. I guess he needed to stop the clock and give them another play.
Lawrence Samuels
Actually it is pretty amazing what we do here. As soon as the arrivals start, the designers start sketching everyone up. Then first thing in the morning, we are here at 6 a.m., we start picking fabrics and choosing trims, because we stock a huge library of fabrics. By 10 o'clock things are already draped up; by 3 o'clock the dresses are done, ready to go to New York.
Susan Hosen
I used to tell people that eight o'clock was eight o'clock, no matter where you were in South Carolina, and that's what I want to instill in these players. The time to play is big time whether you're playing in front 40 people or 4,000 people.

The U.S. Supreme Court, with the help of the Republican Party, ran out the clock. But they didn't run out the clock on Democrats, they ran out the clock on democracy,
Robert Wexler
As far as I'm concerned, the schedule came out before the start of the season at 7 o'clock, and no one told us it was changed. The bus wasn't due to leave until 4:30, so as far as we knew, it was 7 o'clock.
