The kids are disappointed because we really wanted to win this game. But even in the loss it gives the kids a certain level of confidence heading into the playoffs; we played extremely hard.

I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.

All of our kids played hard. South Tahoe was down on numbers and had injuries. Their kids played extremely hard. They had a good energy level no matter who was out there.

I thought this weekend our kids played extremely hard. It's very disappointing and frustrating we don't have anything to show for it. They gave us everything they had. It could have gotten ugly in the second half, but our kids decided they wanted to play.

The effort was there. I wasn't disappointed with the effort, the heart the kids had. It's hard to tell the kids we're happy with the loss (but) the kids did all they could tonight for the most part.

We will hit, it's just a matter of settling down. First-game jitters, it's okay. That's what it is with kids. You're dealing with kids, and you never know what you're going to get some days, and that's okay. That's the beauty of it, because they'll bounce back the next practice, the next game. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. They'll be okay. They're good kids. They played hard, they went right to the end. That's alright.

If we had lost, I would have told my kids the same thing. I was proud of how hard they played. I know (Berea) is disappointed, but they played a great game.

Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.
