Drew had a bad ordsprog

Drew had a bad first at-bat, and I got on him after that. He came back and was patient at the plate. He saw a pitch and hit it at a big time for us.

The 2-0 pitch to Guerrero I'd like back. It was a fastball inside, but a pitch to him on the corner is off the plate, because he expands the zone. The pitch I wanted to get in a little further than that. Even if he made an out there, I wanted to ball in a little bit further. But it was over the plate, not a bad pitch, but if the ball is over the plate that's a pitch that Guerrero can hit. I'd take that one back if I could.

We got more patient at the plate and the guys started waiting for their pitch. (Manchester) threw harder than their starter so it took some time to adjust, but we were able to get a few runs in the sixth and get the win.

I try to be patient at the plate and draw my walks like I did with runners at first and second. We got four runs in that inning. That's the key. We've discovered the hard way there's no way to pitch to him. He's such a disciplined hitter at the plate and has such good plate coverage, it's almost like you can't even trust your pitchers to pitch around him. You've just got to intentionally walk him.
