en Like everyone we expected the track to dry out a lot faster than it did. Instead the track was incredibly slow to dry out. It was amazing how slippery the circuit was, and I can't remember seeing a race like that. We came straight back in and that enabled us to score some points. The team did a great job but we just got one decision wrong. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. en Las Vegas is kind of like a home track for me because it's near California, where I live. Although we haven't won there yet, I always look forward to going back to Las Vegas. It's a newer race on the circuit (NHRA first competed at The Strip in 2000, the year the track was completed), and it's a first class facility. I always try to encourage fans and our sponsors to go there -- I like showing it off.

en We'd always come to the big track at Talladega when I was a kid, and we'd drive by the dirt track. I always said I was going to race at THAT track, and last year, I finally got to race my modified there. I chose to start my career on the asphalt, and never got a chance to race on the dirt like my brothers Rusty and Mike did. So now, I'm just catching up.

en I think she made a huge step last year. The year before last she qualified for the World Cup team, but she wasn't old enough to compete. Last year was the first time she had raced on the international circuit. Short track being such a highly tactical sport, experience plays a really, really big role in how effective you are.

en There's a fantastic atmosphere here for me. There is a great atmosphere in Australia, the people are really friendly and it's a nice place. The circuit is not the best circuit for me, but it's good. I've got a good feeling and I won last year so I have a good memory (of this circuit). Coming here and being the winner of the last race is fantastic for me so I am really looking forward to it and I am really optimistic for Sunday, again.

en It is going to be a nice race for both teams, I think. Last year our car was pretty quick there and I quite like the circuit, so for sure we will try to win the race and hopefully we can win the championship, too, for the team,

en We are really still learning in the Indy cars on the road circuit, ... Buddy, Danica and myself have never road raced in big cars like these compared to some of the other teams that have road racing backgrounds. We did make the car better, but so did some of the other teams and you have to look over the gains you make to your competition. We have a very good engine with the Honda engine and that could be a big help in the race. Buddy's car is much improved and we'll see how that works for the race. I like my car for the race right now, but we can still make it better. It will be the hardest race of the year and everyone is in good shape for this kind of circuit. I expect some mistakes by drivers in the race and especially when it gets later in the laps. If you are tired physically, you will make mental mistakes too.

en We thought last year we clearly won the race. We cleared the course this year and made sure we knew exactly what was going on because last year it was finicky with what they were telling us. We were on track and we ended up pulling it off, so we're happy.

en I like this race. I won it two years earlier, one year after having crashed right at the finish line. I have great memories, because this race offered me beautiful moments at the start of my career.

en There's a lot fond memories here, ... I met my husband here. A lot of big name drivers like The Duke and all those guys we watched race around this track. It's really going to be a sad thing when we're not going to be able to race here anymore.

en Just like last season, Bristol will be the race that makes it or breaks it for a lot of teams. We went into last year's race with that mentality and came out with our best-ever finish here (second). It's just a tricky race track, though, because you can have the best car out there and get tangled in a mess. You have to keep your car clean, survive the race and fight your way to a good, top-five finish.
