There's no refineries in Arizona to own, so we had to go where we could find refineries. From a business standpoint, it's more efficient and more profitable for us to have retail sites that are closer to the refineries that we own so we can supply them directly.

The jump in retail gas prices is partly due to the seasonal production switch from winter to summer grade gasoline, which usually brings higher prices as output is temporarily reduced. The retail sales numbers we saw should have presumed a rally but we had some selling in Hewlett-Packard and NBC Internet. During the day, people started to realize that retail sales were good news.

I would say they're (the Fed) going to take a bye this time around. That's because there ought to be a second consecutive weak retail sales report. We're going so far as to say retail sales are going to go down again after having dropped in April.
