If he's sore, he's not saying anything, ... He's going as hard as he can. He has had three full days. At this time last week, he threw 20 balls, I think.

We'll alternate days with Adam until he gets into the point where the next day it (his foot) is not as sore. It's not as sore today as it was last time so we'll just keeping working him into it and eventually he'll be back. Hopefully, this is over in a week or 10 days.

Going into Florida, generally the cheap days are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, ... Coming out, the best days are Wednesday, Thursday, maybe Friday. And I've wanted to get better every week. That was my goal. My recovery time is quicker. Against Florida State, I was still sore three, four days later. After Duke, I felt better Sunday night.

I let him throw some breaking balls today for the first time. He threw about eight breaking balls, not max effort, but getting over the top of them with no problem, so we'll continue along those lines.

I'm perfectly fine as far as that. That's gone? Sore. I threw six innings on it. It's sore.

After you take that much time off it gives you a chance to kind of step into it easy. Yesterday and today we kind of felt our way into it; we don't want anyone to come back and get sore. We're going to pick it up in the next couple of days and by early next week we'll have our team together and be up to speed.

That's as good as I've seen Randy pitch in a long time. We hit a few balls hard, and they made good plays. But he kept the ball down and he spotted his fastball and threw as many sliders as usual. When he needed an out, he went to his slider.

It got sore and more sore as the game went on. It hurt more when I threw.
