en That's the one thing early in the season ... I wasn't being efficient to the pull side. I've gotten pitches, and I need to turn on them. If you ask Hal, I am hitting my best when I'm able to hit the hard line drive to left field. That's something we talk about and work on because if I hit that pitch well and stay on the pitch, I will hit the line drive to right field.

en We are a field-position team that if special teams have a bad day, we lose. We cannot have that happen, so that's why we work so hard (on) defense and special teams and field position.

en That team and program, they line up and play as hard as they can. They're a proud program, and they'll be back. They're going to have a lot of varsity experience with these young kids that are out here right now.

en To find a career to which you are adapted by nature, and then to work hard at it, is about as near to a formula for success and happiness as the world provides. One of the fortunate aspects of this formula is that, granted the right career has been found, the hard work takes care of itself. Then hard work is not hard work at all.
