en A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. You want to come in and prove yourself early. Obviously, it is a responsibility being drafted that high to come in and play well and to make an impact. If not, you're going to get cut. So you have to come in, make the team, have an impact and do something special. And I feel that, obviously, internally. I feel an obligation to myself to do that but obviously the organization, the fans, this community. I mean, they don't want to see a first-round draft pick be a bust, so I feel I have to come in and hopefully make an impact early.

en Except for two seniors that graduated. They have a tailback committed to University of Tennessee. Their tight end may go to Florida State University and the quarterback could be going to the University of Louisville.

en At the University of Florida, you have everything in place to make a run at the whole thing, and that was a factor, ... I also recruited Florida for five years and I understand the type of talent that you're playing with.

en Being able to do this shows a lot of growth in our program. This is a very historic program at Virginia. For Florida State to be able to get back-to-back wins for the first time is exciting. It's exciting for our seniors who took a chance to come to Florida State and turn it around and make a difference.

en He's a fighter. He will fight you until he can't fight no more. ... You know what Vernell Brown is? He's a graduate of the University of Florida. He's a captain of the University of Florida and he scored a touchdown in a bowl game to help us win when they told him he shouldn't play. So that's what the face of Florida football is.

en People who didn't know before, they'll know who the University of South Florida is and what kind of program we are. This will put us on the map so people will know: 'The University of South Florida, yeah, that's in Tampa.' Not the southern part of the state.

en What's happened is all recruiting has changed. By the time you were ready to offer scholarships, the University of Texas was already done (recruiting). Georgia was done. Florida was done. All of the big schools were done. We had to change our program and our philosophy.

en Thousands and thousands of sexual offenders throughout Florida will have no place to live. How will the taxpayers of Florida feel with thousands of sex offenders possibly wandering the streets because they can't find a place to live. Will that make them feel safer or not?

en It's not the way it's supposed to be drawn up with two of the four seniors who have had an impact on the program. Two seniors not really having a chance to play, it's unfortunate.

en I hate to say this, but what we accomplished last year was almost meant to be. Those seniors had to go through so much, helping us build this program. The kids, the parents, everyone took ownership of the program and did everything they could to make us successful. We had a relationship with those seniors that is very rare.

en Everybody who picks up a glass of water in the entire west-central part of Florida should care about the Green Swamp. It's the liquid heart of Florida.
