We talked to the referees before the game; there's always new situations to adjust, for the refs and for us as well. Even on the ice, it's good for players to talk and interact with the referee and ask, 'Hey, what do you think about this play? Was it a foul? Was it the right call?' Not in a mean way. We want to learn all the game and play the best way and take to our advantage.

They would have had a lot more points if they had hit those foul shots. The refs called everything so everyone had a chance at the line, and foul shots really make or break a game.

A couple of them, I wasn't even close to the guy, but the refs just called fouls. If he thinks it's a foul, it's a foul.

I was thinking attack the rim, get a bucket and to foul a bad free throw shooter and play by possession. I felt I got fouled, it was a good no-call. You can't call a foul in that situation.

I don't know the guy's name. An-goo-nay? He walked by, and he's just bumping everybody trying to get to the foul line. So I'm like, 'Whoa.' You're not going to go out there and just bump everybody.' When you start out a ball game and the first thing they do is call an offensive foul on him for a nonexistent foul, you know the kid doesn't have a chance out there playing. The referees just give him nothing. It's embarrassing.

We commit some of the dumbest fouls I've ever seen. I just don't think other teams foul as much as we do. And then we complain to the refs about it, too. That's the worst part. First we commit a stupid foul, then we complain. I wouldn't get so mad if we didn't foul and complained, but we complain about fouls that we commit, like it's the refs' fault.

We have to play our game and try to get the ball inside. We have to force them to foul us. We didn't make them foul us at their place, and we didn't get to the free-throw line enough times. That is going to be a key.
