We worked on the press breaker more in practice, and ball handling, but Mission still gave us hick-ups all night. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. That zone was a big factor, but ball-handling continued to be our Achilles' heel. We didn't handle the ball well and made some bad passes. Their zone really bothered us, though. We worked and worked to try and simulate it in practice.

We were able to score and get into our press. We gave them some problems handling the ball. Through that, we were able to get our offense more involved. I was pleased with our defensive effort.

The last 15-16 days has been so much fun dealing with the press. I'm going to hand the baseball operations ball over to you. You are in charge of handling all the communications with the press. I'm very proud of you.

We worked really hard in practice on their press and how to beat it. But those plays were really tiring, because I was just absolutely sprinting after the ball.

(Friday) during our final drill in practice, we took the 1944 championship game ball and during our last press breaker, we got a chance to run up and down the court with it. We join the 1944 team and now people aspire to the 2006 team. This is a testament to all the hard work that resulted in a state championship.

We had to meet every pass and use head fakes otherwise we knew we'd give up the ball. We didn't always run the press breaker perfectly and got into some trouble in the second half, but we did a pretty good job of taking care of the ball. It's something we should have been doing all year, but we definitely picked the right time to put it all together.

My teammates were just getting me the ball in the right places. Sometimes they were doubling up on me, but we worked on that in practice. We were really spread out, so that gave me a lot of room to work.

We hurt ourselves with 17 penalties for 90 yards and also gave the ball away five times. Despite that, I thought we gave great effort all night. We will be fine and we will bounce back from this. Earle is just a good team. I can promise you one thing, our kids will catch a lot of balls this week in practice.

It was the same press. We used the same press-breaker, but we didn't execute. We just were not as focused and ready to play as we were the first time.

We knew she wasn't a real fast pitcher and we worked on that in practice, but we just didn't hit the ball very well tonight at all. That was my biggest complaint. We worked so hard at it in practice and then we come out to it and we're hesitant at the plate.

UAB came out pressing us, and we spent a lot of time in practice on our press breaker. The first time we took care of the basketball. That's what we have to do this time.

Our press gave them a lot of trouble. They like to sideline press and get the ball up quick and we took that away from them.

They are quick and big. But their weakness might be handling the ball and pressure. We couldn't press them the entire game, but we got to them a little.
