We can definitely use more contributions and the community is a very caring community and has been very good about assisting in the past. We're counting on them to once again come forward and help out.

We are pleased to support such worthwhile organizations and look forward to working together to help meet the critical needs of the community. As a company, we believe 'Caring is good. Doing something is better,' and the Foundation is another way PacifiCare is taking action to help improve the communities it serves.

I've never seen such a caring community. Anytime we run one of these funds, the response is almost overwhelming. It's one of the things that sets this community apart.

I am amazed about the caring and the giving from the community. We're not getting $5 and $10 checks but $50, $100, $250. They are just opening up their wallets and that keeps the shelters open and provides food....It's wonderful to see the caring from individuals to help others they don't even know.

There are a lot of them in every county. They are such an important part of the past and the present. I often think a community that doesn't take care of its dead wouldn't be a good place to live. They may be the only vestiges left of a community begun during, say, the Reconstruction period.
