en I told (his teammates) they better get ready to work hard because he's a pretty tough coach when it comes to teaching skills and being a team player. But he's a really good guy. I think everyone's going to like him.

en It was tough after Mike Helton graduated (in 2005) -- he was an amazing player -- but I was willing to do it (lead). Coach Harper told me before the season, 'We live or die by you,' and I accepted the role and told him I would work for him. It's not as hard as people think. en Cliff is just a treat to coach now. He's a team player. He works hard both in games and in practices, and he is just a joy to be around. He is always the one sticking up for teammates, and he really looks out for the other guys.

en He's going to try to get a higher score on the ACT or SAT and the FCAT. Right now, he has some pretty good options. He's going to study hard and get in the gym and work hard and get ready to join the team in January.

en He had a lot of influence on me as a basketball player and as a young adult. He taught me about hard work, discipline and respect. He treated the best player on the team and the last player on the team equally, so I never got special treatment. Coach Tisdale was a great family man and that's one of the things I took from him. He touched a lot of lives, including mine.

en Coach Calhoun told me that he can't promise me a starting position, ... but if I come in and work hard, good things will happen. He was just telling me that he's starting freshmen, giving me hints that I could come in and be an impact player.

en He is such a complete player that you think you have one part of his game, and he goes right to another part. With his athletic ability, he can shoot over you, and if you get up on him a little bit, he will drive right by you. That's the toughest part about having to guard him. Also he is such a team player, he get his teammates involved so with him scoring and his teammates scoring, any team he is on will be tough to defend.
