It looks like it was cracked in a couple places. It's a big loss if we lose him. Hopefully we can get him back next week. We'll need him.

I think she cracked her bridge up there. We hope to have her back for next week. She was at practice yesterday, and we let her shoot a little bit. She got hit a couple of games ago in the mouth. She's a big part of our team. She's our leading scorer right now, and we've got to have her back.

He may have a cracked bone in his foot. We don't know how long he will be out. He may be back next week or he may be out the rest of the year. We are hoping it's just one more week.

I've been to a couple of places, but this isn't the first I've been back to Detroit in a while. I was here in our bye week. During the off-season, I'm here twice a month. This is my second home. There are a lot of people I went to school with, a lot of friends I have are still up here.

Last week I had a couple guys talk. I mean, I talk back every which way but what you say to me isn't enough for me to come over and lose a game check over. I'll lose it during the game maybe, but not the pregame.

Unfortunately a couple of calls didn't go our way and we lose again. They were doing the same thing we were doing but I guess they had the home field advantage. I don't know what else to say. It is frustrating, week in week out you play well one week and the next you don't get the best performance that you can get.

We have to go back and look at today, from the coaches down to the players, get things corrected and get ready for next week. It's one game. You hate to lose a game, but at some point, if you lose it, you lose it. What we have to do is get our confidence back.

We told the kids all week that the most important thing about homecoming is the game. We didn't have a problem getting up for this one, despite the loss last week. That's not to say we weren't down. Anytime you lose to Earlham it's very disappointing.

It seems like every time after a loss we come back strong. That is bad because you don?t want to have to have a loss to come back strong, but I think every time we do lose a game, we come back re-focused and stronger than we were before. I hope this will be like that again.

Losing is a blow to the gut, no matter how it happens. A loss is a loss. We, the team, didn't get the job done and here we play as a team, win or lose. Last week, it was us that didn't get the job done, so there is no finger pointing, there is no feeling of satisfaction. We all need to go out and work hard and find a way to get a win.

Everybody says that it takes a loss to lose and I think it did take a loss for us to lose in a sense. But overall, when we win games here at Duke, and we don't play well, we might as well have lost the game.

The way you legitimize a win in the NFL is you come back the next week and win. If you win and then come back the next week and lose, that win doesn't mean anything, regardless of who you were playing.

(Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April. The tough thing on (Franklin) is we get some new guys in like he's got this week, that means he's got to find time to individually spoon-feed all those players and teach them our system. Who knows how quickly we're going to need them? We could lose a couple more this week.
