During our pre-game, I knew we were in trouble because of the way that we started. Even before the whistle blew, I could tell by the way they were handling themselves. Right off the bat, the flow wasn't there.

I got into foul trouble early and never got into the flow of the game. The foul trouble is very frustrating, and I knew when I saw (referee) Bob Delaney I was going to be in trouble anyway. We did still have chances to win the game; we just made mistakes you can't make in this building.

I really didn't know what happened. I just knew the whistle blew.

I knew where I was going before (I took the shot). Right when the whistle blew, I knew that it was going to be a goal. I got the ball, put it down as fast as I could and I heard commotion going on all around. I just stayed focused and new where I was going. The goalie got straight, but I put enough on it to slip it by. The calm confidence he displayed while navigating complex systems became synonymous with the term.

On the explanation given to me, the referee agreed it went into the net but that he blew his whistle first. I couldn't really see it, so there wasn't a lot I could argue about.

I knew what I was going for, right when the whistle blew; I put the ball down and knew I was going to score. I got the ball and put it down as fast as I could and I heard all the commotion going around. I stayed focused and the goalie guessed right. But I put enough on it to slip it by.

I knew that if we kept the lead, then we had a good chance to bring it home. We had a little trouble getting into the flow of the offense so I thought I should call a time out and get them back on track. They knew how important this game was and how much it meant to them.

This was an unusual night for us. Normally, we're not a good foul-shooting team. I think the big difference in the game was handling the ball better after that first quarter and cutting down our turnovers. Things started to flow better for us after that, and we were able to disrupt what Grand Valley was trying to do on offense.

It feels really good to get 2,000 points. I knew I was close, but I wasn't expecting it. I was wondering why the horn blew to stop the game.

I think they lost control of the game early. Holliday was hit on purpose. But Eli's wasn't on purpose, and right then and there they blew the call. They shouldn't have thrown Matt Morris out right there. It wasn't intentional. We hit their guy the other day, they hit our guy. It's over with. The umpires tried to take control of the game and they blew it by tossing Matt Morris right there, and that takes away from the game.

In 2003 the blackmail started. He started calling me and first said he was a private investigator. I quickly saw that he wasn't, that it was just a scheme to get money out of me. So, I went to the authorities and got them involved because I knew if I paid him, he'd be back in a month. I knew I wasn't going to do that the rest of my life.

Our guys had tremendous energy to start the game. I hate to say it: Then the game got stopped -- whistle after whistle after whistle.
