He gave us some problems early on. But we started dropping our guards back on him as well and negated him. That's really where I thought our guys did a good job tonight. They adjusted when they needed to. Brubaker played hard for us. He was all over the place and getting a lot of loose balls.

I'm just going to let you in on a little something just to file away. I understand that there's a chance that they may have a Busch race at Martinsville next year. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Tonight he was really good. He can get wild and throw a lot of balls. We tried to let him do that, but he didn't.

Brian threw the ball real well. He was very accurate today and I thought he did his best job of reading and taking what the defense gave us because they played us a little bit different than we thought they would coverage-wise, dropped guys a little deeper, blitzed us more on first down. Ty looked really good tonight and when you give a quarterback time to throw it's tough to beat. We've got five or six guys we can throw the ball to, so defenses can't just focus on Jeff.

With the home runs early, and it being 4-0, I thought we could hit some good balls because we had some men on base early. But it just never happened.

It came down to this - we had (11) penalties, five turnovers, two missed field goals, dropped balls, missed tackles, bad coverage, ... So it doesn't get any worse than that. We just self-destructed. We were awful.

We came out strong and were hitting right away. They hit well, but I think mentally we could have played a better game. We had some dropped balls, and a few times didn't know where to throw the ball right away.
