en It was one of those races where I could do a comfortable lap time. But when I tried to push a little harder in the last five laps, I couldn't do it.

en This was a good first race for us. Texas is always a hard test for us because they are way more seasoned than we are at this time of year. The races taught the new novice kids to push a lot harder. We are now ready to get going and prepare for our home races.

en He just didn't feel comfortable on the run. He tried to accelerate through one time and it just wasn't there. He couldn't push off well.

en I kind of put it in my head that I've got to work harder and harder and push him, but he kept working even harder, ... Obviously, he was doing something I wasn't doing. Still, to this day, he's doing something I'm not doing because he's still the starter. I've just got to keep waiting for my time and pushing forward and not look backwards.

en That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.

en I knew they would stop before me and I had to push to gain time on them, ... With seven laps to go I went as quickly as I could.

en It's hard to do those last three or four laps. It's like the track films over or the tires glaze over. We were using everything we had. Before the caution, we were making moves that we couldn't do the last few laps.

en The first time we really got going after each other was with about 40 [laps] to go. That's the perfect amount of laps to go where it's time to dig in deep and get after it and get on top of the wheel and start going. There is no more rolling over and playing dead and letting guys go and stuff like that -- It's time to race and it's time to get after it and that's what I was doing.

en Obviously I'm very happy to start the race on the front row. I think I had a good qualifying session and I really pushed hard, especially in the last five laps when Bill Riley was telling me to push harder to avoid ending up in the back. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. I just kept pushing and pushing and finally got a good lap together. And it was my best. I don't think I could have done any better than that.

en I can tell that the boy I help is getting better. He is more comfortable and I push him with harder books to better himself. In the beginning he would not look at me and then we started talking about the dogs and he opened up. When we got finished with the first session, he said he wanted to come back again.

en The race car is harder to drive. If there was an in-car camera that could have watched me saw on that wheel for 500 laps, there wasn't one time I could relax.

en Yue Her had a tremendous season. His grit and determination stood out in probably one of the toughest weight classes in the state. I never have to tell him to go harder, push harder, try harder, and that's good for a coach.

en This win is so exciting to be a part of. With all the team's ties to Mexico, this is just on another scale in terms of a big win. The car was perfect all day, and for this team it's very, very special to win here. I couldn't be happier for Luis. It's one thing to win big races, but another to win big races in your backyard, and he did that today. I couldn't be more proud of him.

en I'm happy with where we are coming into Anaheim. Everyone else has a lot of race experience on the four-strokes and I've just got two races on the bike.
