It's football season anything ordsprog

en We've still got a lot of goals and things still out there. It's a long season. A lot of guys don't really realize that right now. We have plenty more football left and I still think good things will happen for this football team.

en You're always concerned about what's going to happen to your football team after they lose a tough one. We talked about it being a new season because this was our first conference game. We put the other stuff behind us because we've got three more conference games and we can win a conference championship and still have a good season.

en Everyone thought to themselves, 'Yeah,' and bought in from that moment. It was his whole aura, tone of voice, demeanor, the air of confidence he brought. Throughout the whole season it came through him and into our football team. It's manifested itself in our football season.

en The best news is that he has all of his hours in to be a pilot, but the only thing he has to do is take a three- to-four-hour test, and he doesn't have time to do it until after football season. He's pretty locked on the ground until football season is over, at the least in the flying sense.

en It's football season. Anything can happen. It's a long season. A long game. You have to be ready for anything. If that's what it comes down to, that's what it comes down to. You just have to be ready to play in any situation.

en They couldn't run the football. Their only touchdown came on a blown coverage by the Carolina Panthers. Everybody questioned what would happen without Charlie Weis and if this is any indicator of it, it is going to be a tough season. Tom Brady at the Super Bowl was talking about it last year with us privately before the game and he was nervous about it. You could clearly tell that he was worried about going into this season without Charlie Weis.

en Football is the game I love, but everybody knows that your health comes first, ... In a way, it's been a blessing. Usually, when football season's going on, it's all about football.

I think I've indicated to you before there can be opportunities, and we had one earlier this season, that it was my intention to get him in with five or six minutes to go but we never got the ball back until it was considerably less than that. Regular-season football is different than preseason football. It's been a philosophy of mine that you play your players until you have determined that the win is secured.

en I've never seen this happen. It is the kind of thing we talk about constantly in practice, but I've never seen it happen. ...
