en We've just gotten better every week and had a real good tournament. Sharkey gave us a real good test. They played a control ball game and shot the ball real well. We're real confident right now. We feel we can compete with anybody in Class A ball.

en Day games here are definitely different than night games. The ball travels a little bit more. He ran out real quick. You're asking a guy who is very, very talented - very athletic - but who doesn't play as much to get a good read on the ball over his head off the wall. Your normal center fielder has a slightly better chance because he's out there every day.

en Chris picked his head, saw me, and chipped me a great ball. It was half the goal himself. The ball was just up there. All I remember was saying 'go for it'. I tried it, and it went in the back of the net.

en It's when you find the sweet spot on the bat. Good wood is when you can feel the ball jump right off the bat. It sounds perfect. Solid.
