Anderson has improved 110 percent. They wanted it more than we did. Even when we started we weren't excited. We have to learn to play at the same level no matter who we play against.

I think the hardest thing is to come in and learn all of our team principles on the defensive end. He's done a really good job and shown he can defend at this level, which means you can play. It doesn't matter if you can make shots if you can't defend; being a shooting guard at this level, you can't play.

Brown, as defensive captain, sets the tone all game long and refuses to allow anyone to play below his level. They go 100 percent intensity every play, and I'm blessed to have backups at every position who play almost as well as the first team. I feel like my game has improved tremendously on the mental side of things this spring. I've had a lot of people tell me that I have the physical potential to play at this level, but it's about getting mentally where you need to be. I'm excited about my progression.

It really doesn't matter who we play, all the teams are going to be good at this level. We just have to come out and play like we did (last Tuesday). We have to stay focused and play four quarters of basketball.
