en We'll still play some of the older teams. But with what we did this year, some things are going to change.

en We can be one of the top 10 or 15 teams in the country. At other times, we don't play with that same energy. We have two seniors. Last year, we had five older guys. They understood what it was about.

en That's the problem with the voting. We vote at the beginning of the year and don't (change) votes at the end of the year. I would hope in the future we would pick the four best teams at the end of the year and play them off and have a true national champion.

en We're going to change our philosophy on defense. We were a little passive last year. We have some kids who can play man coverage, so we might be able to come after teams a little more. We don't want to be sitting ducks like we were last year.

en They know what to expect from us as coaches every day. The first year is always tough, especially for your older kids. When things change, it can be a tough transition for them.

en We don't change our style of play. A lot of teams, they play one way during the regular season and their style of play has to change once they get to the playoffs. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. When you play for seven months one style, and now you're going to change in a three-day span, you're not as prepared, you're not as comfortable.

en Against older horses, he would not hold up racing the way he did last year. It would be too hard. The older horses will come and get you. You better have something left at the wire. He's very comfortable with the change and hopefully he'll continue to be.
