Playing the state champion-that's exciting; that's what you want. They [Henderson] are just a perennial powerhouse year in and year out, they're the team to beat.

The theme this year is to prove we're not a fluke. We're a perennial powerhouse, and we just want to keep on winning.

I think we're playing a team who is playing as well as they've played all year long. They beat Florida twice, and they beat Mississippi State pretty bad.

Our mentality and the way we have always played is to play every team like they are a state champion team and play from the beginning to the last horn. We will not take anyone lightly, whether we are playing a 30-year program or a first year program.

This was by far our best game this year. We've been playing much better over our last four games. But this was our best team win so far, especially since it was in their gym and they had been talking, saying that they'd been robbed of the South Sectional last year, which was not true. We beat them this year and last year and I'm just so proud of these kids.

We wrestled pretty well against them. We had to forfeit one weight and won five matches. They are a perennial top five, top eight team in the state and they are very good this year.

Unfortunately, everybody gets beat in the last game except the state champion. When we started out the year, if we knew we were going to win 15, I think everyone would've been happy with that.

They're a team that has what I like to call 'the spirit of a champion,' ... They gave Acton-Boxboro a tough game (in last year's 1A semifinal). They've won eight (regular season) games since we beat them last year. They're used to winning and they won't give up.

Everybody dreams about state in their senior year rather than their sophomore year though. Playing a bigger role this time, this is much more exciting.

We beat them the year before at state, and we thought we had to just show up to beat them. We were too cocky, so we talked this year about keeping focused on every game and playing to our potential every game.

It was early in the year and we've looked forward to competing against them later in the year, ... They've obviously improved a lot over the course of the year and they beat Illinois, Penn State and Rhode Island. We're the only top-four team they haven't beaten. The goal from a year ago today was to be a state champion. We were confident and relaxed. The focus was always on (Colin) being a state champion. He saved his best for last and he earned this. His name will go on our Wall of Champions.

I'd be lying if ... I mean, there's a love-hate. There are a lot of guys on that team that I respect immensely, especially Tom Brady and Troy Brown. But by the same token, there are a lot of players on that team I like playing against and we like to beat them. I can't name names, but it's a healthy competition. When they beat us last year in the AFC title game, that leaves scars. You want payback. You play the team that cut you, you obviously want to beat that team.

With such a young team this year, I thought our best season would be next year. It's going to be a dogfight against Cairo (today). This region is so tough that, on any given night, any team can beat anybody. I think this is one of the top regions in the state.

Bridgewater-Raritan is the standard in the area and in the state. We have a chance to dethrone the champion. To be the champion, you have to beat the champion.
