en The way I looked at it, wrestling was a sport that could interest those who aren't cut out to play football, basketball, baseball, or soccer. Wrestling is a sport for everyone. There are no height or weight restrictions or limitations. It doesn't matter what grade you're in. Even gender. We had two girls who came out for the team. It really is a sport that includes everyone.

en He's a natural leader. He leads by example first, so all the hard work and commitment that he's made to the sport of wrestling, he's put right back into the team.

en Last season just kind of melded into this year. He never really stopped wrestling. He has such an enthusiasm for the sport, and it showed all of (his teammates) that this is what you can do when you work as hard as he does.

en It's like whoa, this is what you want to be doing. This is why you put in all the hard work. Why am I doing this? Why am I eating so healthy? Why am I running so much? This is why. All this hard work pays off. It really pays off.

en I've loved wrestling since I was little. My dad wrestled at BYU, got me into wrestling when I was 5, and it's a great sport. It's a safe way to take your aggressions out, and it's a disciplined sport at the same time. It's also an individual sport, where you have to win your match on your own. Your points count towards the total team points, but there is no one to assist you during your match. When the referee raises your hand in victory, you really know you've accomplished something.

en He has really matured and was a late bloomer. He was very thin at first and he worked hard in the (wrestling) room. He had to add muscle tone and work and work during his younger years to add strength.

en When I came out my freshman year, it basically opened my eyes to the sport. I realized wrestling is a big deal. I saw all the older varsity guys and how hard they worked. That's when I realized you have to put a lot of work into it.

en I'm happy to be part of this organization for the next four years and receiving this contract extension shows that hard work pays off.

en I really feel that this medal belongs to a lot of people who put in years and years of hard work and dedication in this sport; the teams who came before us and were never able to break through.

en As we do each year with every sport, we have completed an evaluation of all aspects of our wrestling program. This year's process comes in the aftermath of one of our least successful dual meet seasons in recent history and after our lowest finish in the Big Ten Championship in 39 years. Regretfully, we have come to the conclusion that it is time for new leadership within our wrestling program.
