Everything's wonderful in Oakland. I'm very happy for Ken. He's very attached to his players and felt very badly he wasn't going to be with them. The bottom line is this really wasn't about money. It was more about both parties being comfortable on going forward. In the end, it was easy to get resolved.

I wasn't getting hits but I felt like I was swinging the bat OK. I wasn't striking out. I was comfortable up there, so I wasn't really worried about it.

I knew right way I wasn't going to have to be dramatic because we had good people, good veteran players that lead the way, the right way.
