The power-play guys have got to be exhausted. But I thought they did a pretty good job of moving the puck around. It was nice to get the last one. We were getting frustrated there in the third period.

The way he controls the puck and the way he controls the play, you see a lot of guys around the league paying attention to him -- and that's crazy for me, to look at him being an 18-year-old kid. When he gets that puck, he makes things happen. It's pretty special to watch him play the way he does. When he's at the top of his game, he's up there with the top players in the league.

When Joe got the puck I was screaming at him pretty loud and obviously Joe Thornton knows how to find guys. He's fun to play with and watch out there. That was a tough goal, but it was still a 3-2 game with a whole period left to play so we had plenty of time to come back. We just didn't generate much in the third period. We tried to be fancy too much, and didn't get the puck to the net.

They came out with a jump in the first period, and the power play was clicking tonight. One of the things we game-planned for was to shoot the puck more. Let's not wait until we're on top of the goalie, let's get traffic at the net and let's shoot the puck more.

It just took a while. I think now we're playing as a team, moving the puck pretty well and passing the puck pretty well, which we didn't do in the first 10 games. It's an important road trip and we're off to a good start.

He's going to get a good taste of what he needs to work on. When he moves the puck, he's very effective. When he hangs on to the puck too long in an effort to make a pretty play, he gets exposed.

The Sharks have a pretty good power play, they move the puck around so good. Our killers did a great job of letting me see the puck.
