I thought that at the start of the second half we lost our poise. We kind of got into a hurry and we panicked. I thought the defensive pressure really got us off-rhythm offensively, and that was the game there.

I thought their defensive pressure hurt us. Especially at the start of the second half, they really got us out of rhythm offensively, what we were trying to do. And that was the game right there.

We lost the game in the first half I thought. We didn't have the poise and the confidence in the first half we had in the second half.

I thought our defensive game plan was just right on. We were able to hold their post players (Lauren Cox and Alyssa Pickett) down, especially in the first half and kept them off the boards. We did a super job of blocking out. In the second half, I thought our outside pressure was the key for us. Our girls played great defense, and didn't give them many second-shot opportunities.

We really didn't get any flow in the second half. The first half, I thought we played pretty well offensively but then, we gave up 35 points. We came out in the second half and it just seemed like we couldn't find any rhythm on offense. We missed some bunnies early. I thought our kids continued to play hard. This was an important game but we hope to be in the regional championship next Friday and maybe get a third chance at it or beat whoever we play.

You go through phases during the game where you can't get it in. The first half was our phase. I thought we had good looks, we were short, that's basketball. I thought we had no continuity the whole game. We couldn't get into a rhythm of what we were trying to do.

I thought we tightened it up a lot in the second half and we only gave up 41. That was the difference in the game. I don't think we were as sharp offensively and defensively to start the game but your going to have that. We'll take the win and move on and see if we can keep it going.

Offensively, I thought we had one of our better games. Scoring four goals against Padua is impressive. ... We were brilliant offensively, but I thought our play in the defensive zone was sub-par for our standards.

I think at times we had a little something going. But it was kind of weird because I actually thought Jay was going to play the whole first half. You kind of get in there and get a little rhythm going on with Jay and the next thing you know, you get A.J. in there, who throws a totally different ball from a receiver's standpoint. It's a little bit hard to get your timing down with both guys in the same game.

He just lost it in a hurry. I thought he was throwing the ball as well as he had all year, working both sides of the plate. The first few innings were great, and then he just lost it in a hurry.

We were never able to get into any kind of rhythm either offensively or defensively. I thought we particularly struggled at the guard position tonight.
