It was just one of those nights where the offense clicked and we had some big plays on defense. Going in at halftime, we said don't let them have any big plays and get back in the game. In return, we had that first drive in the second half and put them away. Then all of a sudden the defense came and made two big plays.

Of course you want to get more opportunities. Today it presented itself to get more opportunities in the passing game. Everybody capitalized on it. Antwaan made some big plays, Cedrick made some big plays. We kept converting and coming up with touchdowns.

We need those touchdowns. If we're putting up those touchdowns, with our defense, we know we can do some big things. We need some more big plays. We can drive the ball, we've shown that, but those big plays, they are things we've done in the past, and we need to find some more of those.

You know he is their go-to guy. The ball is going to get to No. 81 some time or another. We know we have to limit the big plays. You can't just shut out a great receiver, but you have to limit the big play. He touched the ball five times last week and had two touchdowns. I was really pleased with the way we made some big plays offensively. Dwayne made some nice catches and [Davis] made some nice catches. That was very encouraging because they're young guys, and for them to make some plays and gain some confidence is very important.

We felt for us to be successful we needed to play more up-tempo offensively and defensively. And we did that, plus we made some perimeter shots early, which got us rolling.

Offensively, we've been struggling early in the year. We didn't have a lot of guys on base. When we do get hits, we don't have guys on base. We made a lot of mistakes and there were plays we should have made. We can't blame it on the weather. They made all the plays and we didn't.

We haven?t quite got going offensively as a unit yet, that?s obvious. It?s nice to win games that way when you?re not rolling offensively.
