He's definitely a good ordsprog

He's definitely a good wrestler, but if Chris can come out and wrestle like he did at districts, there's no doubt he can advance.

I told myself to just go out and wrestle, wrestle hard and everything will take care of itself. I'm usually a fast-pace wrestler, I don't like plodding and the slow pace, so it was good.

Chris Low's match was a nice win. He beat a good wrestler. At 119, Neal West had another good match against a solid wrestler.

I feel Chris could be a successful Division I wrestler. I'm hoping college coaches will see what he did at Hershey and give him a chance. They can't go wrong with a good kid like Chris.

You can say you wrestle, but if you lose all your matches you're not really a wrestler. I didn't consider myself a wrestler until my sophomore year, but now, I do.

I think it was a great season for him. He will wrestle in college and this will be a building thing for him. I think he will be a better college wrestler than a high school wrestler.

We want everyone to come out and wrestle as good and hard as they can. We're going to try and qualify every wrestler. Whether or not it's realistic, it's our goal.

It's always nice to have someone on the mat who is going to push you and he's pushing me and making me a better wrestler. A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

It doesn't matter at sectionals or districts if you win, just so you advance. At state, everyone is good and you have to be prepared for each match. Last year I won districts but I was so nervous. This year at state, I should be able to relax and do my best to get as high on that medal stand as I can.

Johnson is an outstanding team and I have no doubt that they could win that game. I think our area is as tough as it comes and it would surprise me to see several of us or all of us advance. But, there are a lot of good teams out there so we'll have to play our best to advance.

Ben Warner is a great individual and a great wrestler. He is the one guy that really had a shot at beating Derek this year. This match was proof of Derek's ability. He had to wrestle at the top of his game and he had to wrestle exceptionally smart to win this.

No doubt our most improved wrestler. Kids like him make us coaches look really good.
