I don't think it was a good call. Seth's played that block all year. He's a nine-year veteran. He's not going to make a (mistake) like that at that time of the game.

Our basketball team this year has played with energy; they've played with passion and enthusiasm. And this time of year, those things will keep you around and keep you in the game, but they're not good enough to win the game.

Taylor: 'I'm so sorry.....'
Summer: 'I got to go to detention.'

We have a lot of confidence in Chris, ... He came in and redshirted a year, and, at that time, we weren't real sure. We picked a good night to play our best game of the season. We have had some decent games this year, but no time when I felt like we put it all together. Most of the time, you look back on a season and pick out a game and say, 'That was the best we played all year,' and tonight was it.

Mark played very, very well. He came in and got his goal. I was very pleased for him. He was here last year and played towards the end of the year. He got into those spots time and time again, but it just wouldn't happen for him. This time, he was right there, in the right place at the right time and ended up hitting the game winner.

That's the best defense we've played all year, but by far the cheapest, ... I got spit on. I make a good block, and the guy spits on me. I saw that too many times today. It's disgusting. I got poked in the eye. They had their hands in our facemasks all day.

I felt good about that one once it left my hand. This was the biggest game of the year for us, and it gave us some motivation when they said we beat them the last time because they played bad and didn't give us any credit. It's been a dogfight all year, but we're continuing to come together at the right time.

We've found out that Seth is quite the mismatch. Ubly's defensive backs don't have the size that Seth has. Seth is 6-foot-3, he can jump, and he can run. That's a pretty good combination.

(Fleury) played well, but after a game like this, the bottom line is that we have to look at the way we played and the mistakes we made. If we want to make the playoffs, this is the kind of game we just can't have at this time of the year.

It's the way we played all year. We're aggressive. An aggressive mistake when you are playing to win, no one has a problem with that. Against those guys at the end of the game you've got to try to make things happen.
