These are some pretty nasty cases. It's unusual to see this many complaints against one person.

There are no real blockbuster cases on the docket so far. But there are a number of unusual cases out there, issues the justices want to revisit.

He's been good, ... He's got everything it takes. He's tougher than heck and he's nasty on the football field. He's a nice person off the field, but to be a great player, you've got to have that nasty attitude and he's got it.

[The office is currently handling 14 open cases where a person was arrested for obtaining prescriptions by fraud. Charges have not been filed in six of the cases.] We are seeing more cases, ... I am not certain if this is due to the growing population or an increased abuse of prescription drugs.

It's not unusual for a person with a very respectable job to be caught up in Internet crimes against children. We've had cases of police officers, clergy, teachers, youth leaders, doctors ? people from all walks of life ? who have been arrested on similar charges. Predators don't necessarily look and act any different from the rest of us, which is why kids need to be very careful.

I think with Ray you got somebody who really is an unusual person and an unusual player in the NBA in terms of his character, his leadership and how he takes care of himself, ... If you were going to make a bet on someone, I think Ray Allen is the poster child for that. I feel very comfortable.

I was very surprised to find out that, pretty much in all cases, I was the only person reporting the site. You would think a lot of stuff like this goes on, but it actually doesn't.

What we've done is try to mediate these complaints. In a lot of cases, we were able to come up with some sort of agreement between the parties.

Acid thrown in someone's face is pretty unique. You gotta be pretty twisted. It was pretty nasty.

The thing about Ray is, he's not going to panic. He's been around forever. He was able to play tackle for us last year and now he's come in to play guard. He's a pretty unusual person. He's been given a great body, but with Ray, it's also about character.

He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. For us to see nine cases, that is unusual for us.

An unbelievable number of complaints are coming to the NAACP from all over Broward County. We're getting complaints about misconduct, intimidation when they try to file complaints and people driving and minding their own business being stopped, especially young black males.

In some cases a person can be sent to jail, until they comply with the order, in other cases they can be fined.

Based upon the many calls and the consistency of the complaints, we feel that the cases we have filed are strongly supported by proof.

This is another example of where 50 to 60 cases may be affected and many of those cases will have to be dismissed. Some of these cases are very serious. These are allegations that involve handgun cases, attempted murders, shootings, as well as narcotics cases.
