For a freshman I ordsprog

For a freshman, I didn't think she looked nervous. In my opinion, she was ready for the challenge. I thought she really stepped up.

I thought (Stafford) looked good, threw the ball well. He missed a couple, rushed it with his feet, but for his first time going out there in the stadium, I thought he was calm and didn't show any signs of being nervous. He was ready to play.

I didn't have to tell nobody to be quiet. Everybody was sitting in his own seat. There wasn't a word. There wasn't a headphone set on. I had to look to see if they were nervous or if they were ready to play. I looked at their faces, and they looked like they were ready to play.

That was big. Freshman Sean Little stepped up. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon tonight. We hadn't heard from him in a few games, he gets a few here and there, but I thought he really picked it up tonight.

I thought it was a fumble, but that's just my personal opinion. The call from the referee was his knee was down. So I guess that was the right call. They got instant replay and looked at it a few times, so evidently they saw something that I didn't see or they knew a rule that I don't know. When I was a freshman, I didn't wrestle as well here as I thought I could. I looked up at the stands and saw lots of people.

We had a tremendous challenge, not just an economic challenge but a health challenge. We looked beyond solving the immediate problem and thought of it as a great opportunity.

We thought we were ready for this game. We worked against the pressure every day in practice, but we just didn't make the plays. We looked fuzzy - like we didn't know what we were doing. Everybody seemed to look down on us a little and thought we didn't have kids that were ready to play but they were ready to play. I think everybody was on point tonight, they were just hungry. Seniors stepped up. Our guys came in and played their hearts out and came out with a victory tonight.

The running part is easy. The challenge comes with picking up the system, learning formations, reading defenses and knowing blocking assignments. All indications are he has very good natural football instincts. But we have to be realistic. He is just a freshman, a very talented freshman. We need to put him in situations where he can succeed, not situations where he?s not ready. That falls on the coaching staff.

I don't think I realized how big the Final Four was. I just kind of assumed that I would get here every year because that's just all I knew. I was really tense and really nervous in the game because I didn't feel like I had full control of things. I was just a freshman, and I didn't know what I was doing in a way.

I thought we really stepped up to the challenge is this game. We were able to answer their runs. When they went on another run, I thought we really buckled down.

I was more relaxed. I felt ready to take up the challenge and wasn't nervous.

I thought we played, obviously, much better in the second half. I didn't do a very good job of getting these guys ready to go to understand just what it took. The challenge at halftime was to pick up our intensity.

She just really came up big. I thought our guards did a great job of getting her the basketball, and she just really responded. I thought that was the best game that we've seen out of her. For a freshman, she really stepped up and did a great job.
