Once again, President Bush let's politics pollute science. Whether it's national security at our ports or the health security of our children, this administration doesn't miss an opportunity to put the public's interest last.

We've got to change this government, ... We've got a president playing politics with national security.

Our whole team's goal is the NCAA Title, the national title. So we're all working every day to earn that national title.

[And most of us are. But the decent instincts that drive most Americans are scarce in certain precincts when opportunity knocks. Rep. Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco and Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, the leaders of the congressional Democrats, have been particularly knavish (and congressional Republicans particularly cowardly in confronting the partisan calumny). Mrs. Pelosi gave reporters a heroic (and unlikely) account of how she set the president straight in a private conversation with him. It's not clear whether the Secret Service was standing by lest she, like Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, threatened to punch him out. She called Mr. Bush] oblivious, in denial, dangerous. ... Why didn't President Bush return immediately from his vacation?

Once again, Howard Dean, Harry Reid and other Democrats are putting partisan politics first and the facts second.

[But Card wasn't there to prepare Bush for his meetings in Europe. Instead, he presented the President with a 1.5-in.-thick binder of eight policy options for reorganizing the Federal Government to guard against terrorist threats. Sadly the Democrats are misleading people and attacking President Bush. As a matter of principle, we feel the American people have a right to the truth, which is that President Bush is working hard to rescue our economy, protect Social Security and Medicare and eliminate the national debt.

There's no question that all 15 member states of the Security Council are important and will all be talked to. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life.

President Bush's top priority is the safety and security of the American people. Since September 11, President Bush has restructured and reformed the federal government to focus resources on counterterrorism and to ensure the security of our homeland.

Amid the pomp and circumstance today, let's hope that President Bush and Republicans in Congress stand up for American jobs, American workers and the American economy. It's time to put the needs of hard working Americans ahead of politics. Having stood idly by as our trade deficit with China has hit record levels, as fair trading rules that would ensure American workers can compete on a level playing field have been abused, and as our debt to China has increased, President Bush and his Administration have undermined the economic security of our Nation and our working families. Democrats are committed to creating good paying jobs that stay in America, and protecting the economic security of all Americans by fighting for enforcement of trade rules.

The facts are that George Bush hasn't fully funded homeland security and has alienated our allies around the world. This is a cynical attempt to rescue the president's sinking poll numbers by using fear and politicizing our national security.

According to our laws and the constitution, law-enforcement agencies immediately should open a case against [the National Security Committee] and start an investigation. These are desperate days for the Bush campaign with the president's job approval in the danger zone. They are desperately using the politics of fear to try and distract from President Bush's failed record on the economy and Iraq.
