I think it's real good news that these huge sophisticated companies are considering Selma, ... It says Selma is open for business, being evaluated by world class companies. I think that's nothing but good news. It is just a top priority of mine to urge top-flight businesses, world-class businesses to consider Selma for economic expansion.

That's why I did all I could to support Lockheed Martin's selection process when it chose Selma as its designated site. That selection in itself certainly speaks well for Selma. While the Air Force, after completing its process, decided otherwise, I certainly believed that Lockheed and Selma's capabilities were unmatched.

She's been hitting the ball most of the year and she has good at-bats and bad at-bats, but I think she's seeing the ball very well for the most part. Foul trouble killed us. We didn't get to do what we wanted to do. We wanted to pressure them, but that was taken out by the foul trouble. We settled into a zone defense and they shot the ball over us. You have to give Morton credit. They got the good looks and knocked down the shots.

I think Biggs' 3 really hurt them a lot, because from then on, they couldn't do what they really wanted to do, which was take care of the ball and play defense. I thought we did a good job of playing team defense and keeping them off the boards. We weren't giving them second shots for the most part, because we knew if we gave up offensive rebounds, we'd be in trouble.

Yeah, he had some trouble in that first inning and gave up four runs. He just had a little trouble getting the ball down. But he's fine. He had his breaking ball working real good.
