en We're a pretty tough team to press with a kid like Jamie. If teams are going to press us, we want to attack and make them pay. I thought all our kids made good reads off their press.

en We figured if we couldn't press them, we wouldn't have much of a chance. They had experience, so we knew they would be tough to press, but we had to press them if we were going to do anything against them.

en That was kind of hard to deal with. Her dad smoked, and, as a journalist, she had worked in an environment where a lot of people smoked. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings.

en He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

Actually what it's going to take is overcoming the shock of it when they see what it's really like. Then they jump on you and if you can recover from it then you're OK. Most teams don't recover.

en State College really serves tough. They were able to control the game based on their tough serving. This was the first time a team's been jump-serving at us, at least this consistently. We've seen jump-servers but not this many all game long. We struggled with it.

en We have very good depth, more than we've had in the past. Our depth has helped us, and we've played a tough schedule.

en They're tough. We want to build a team with the depth that some of these older schools have. The only way to get the depth is to get our young guys some experience.

en It should not be smoked like a cigarette, and it should not be smoked in a disco. It's just like at a fine restaurant, you shouldn't eat something as if it were a hamburger, or drink a fine glass of wine as if it were Coke.

en I really like our depth this year. The kids have great goals and they really want to be consistently good. We have more depth, and I think that means more low scores.

en The kids are smart and are terrific listeners. They are learning something on jump after jump. It's obvious they're having a blast.

en Defensively tonight we were the best we've been all season. Our press and our zone were very active. Even when they had a good look it was a contested shot. It was a very tough environment and I like the way the kids held their composure in the final five minutes.
