This partnership will best serve the loyal fans in Washington, Maryland and Virginia. We are excited that all of our fans will be able to tune into our games from March until the season's last pitch.

We are very excited that Fox Sports Net has chosen to televise nearly all of our team's away games, allowing our fans their best opportunity to date to follow the team away from the RBC Center. FSN is a terrific television partner and they continue to work with us to find ways to better serve our fans.

Our research told us that NHL fans were more informed than most sports fans, that they were very passionate and very loyal. It showed us that almost unequivocally, fans were supportive of the league in its efforts to put an economic model in place for long-term stability, and that about 95% of fans said they would come back and support the league when it returned.

We expect West Virginia fans to purchase (season) tickets because they've done it elsewhere. We want to give our fans the first opportunity to fill the stands with green.

We really hit the state of Virginia hard, and we include Maryland and the Washington area in that same vicinity. If you're in Northern Virginia, it's just a stone's throw to Maryland and the D.C. area.

That is a remarkable accomplishment. Unfortunately, it came against us. But at the same time, it was in front of his fans - the same fans he has been so loyal to and have been so loyal to Luc.

Fox Reality is the destination this March for 'American Idol' fans who can't get enough of this show and the contestants. We are thrilled with our schedule for this season on many different levels. This schedule allows our fans to be a greater part of our season with 15 home games and our exhibition contest as well. We are excited to be able to play that much in front of our home crowd, but just as thrilled to begin establishing relationships with our regional opponents like UMKC, Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts, that our fans will enjoy seeing in Charles Koch Arena in years to come. Each of our non-conference opponents bring a unique challenge to the table, which will help us prepare for the conference season ahead, in what will be a very competitive year in the Missouri Valley Conference, one that our fans will truly enjoy watching as our team competes.

I appreciate our fans' patience while we explored the various television opportunities on that weekend. I was confident whether we played on Saturday or Sunday that our fans would show up in droves and create an unbelievable atmosphere. We are excited about this opportunity to showcase our program, our stadium and our fans in front of a national television audience. It will be a terrific way to open the 2006 season.

We have another challenging schedule that our players, coaches and fans will enjoy. We play at Kansas State for the first time and we have Kentucky, Miami and West Virginia at home for our fans. It's going to be a tough schedule, but I know our players will be excited about what's in front of them.

It's one of the best things having the other teams' fans quiet, and it's something we feed off of. We've been on the road for a while so we've been feeding off of their fans, so I'm excited to see what we can do with our home fans behind us.

Our loyal fans are always willing to help. I'm pleased that Saturday's game can serve as a catalyst to this university effort.

This organization has always embraced the opportunity to serve as ambassadors of the NFL. We have played in eight American Bowl games -- the second most in league history -- and we are excited about the prospect of playing the first regular-season game on foreign soil. Having this opportunity speaks to the popularity of the 49ers worldwide. The fans in Mexico are tremendous and we look forward to being a part of it.
