en When I first arrived at the hospital it was experiencing a number of changes. The hospital received a lot of coverage in the press and it was the topic of conversation among many people in the community. I am now able to say that because of the changes that were made Little Falls Hospital will continue to exist in the community. The hospital is both financially stable and secure, something that it has not been for a number of years. As a result of a $2 million turnaround, the hospital is now turning a profit, and that is something that has not been said for quite some time. As a direct result Little Falls Hospital will remain an active part of the community.

en I admire people for staying and trying to fix the problems, but we have other agencies out there that had problems and fixed them, and they are not getting rewarded,

en We want to know why people choose to use the hospital or why they choose to go somewhere else. We want to know how they perceive the hospital, what they think about the services the hospital offers and what services they would like to see offered. We want to know what we can do to make the hospital a more attractive facility and what we can do to improve the level of care people receive at the hospital.

en The problems are not fixed the problems are multiple and the problems are serious health threats. We've asked them to thoroughly evaluate that. They have refused us.

en He's going well. I know it sounds dramatic - a knee infection, in hospital, on a drip - but I went to visit him in hospital this morning and he was in good spirits. The improvement in just 24 hours has been amazing and just talking to Brett, he's certain he'll be turning out on Thursday.

en If you were in that meeting, you'd be worrying about fixing those problems, ... I think as long as you understand what the problems are and you believe they can be fixed, then you have a chance.
