Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

There's no doubt that since we walked off the court here last year that we've had the vision of being back here. It's been a dream of ours, we've worked very hard and been very dedicated to that dream for a long time now, and now the dream has come true.

We played the best game we've played all year. Everybody uses Trinity as a measuring stick. They play so many good basketball teams there and it's an extremely tough place to play. We played extremely well and should have won the ballgame. Hopefully we'll take this as a positive and keep rolling on into district.

It's really been a dream come true. Ever since I made that shot against Shabazz my junior year (ironically, the only points he scored in that entire game) and then coming here and being a backup point guard to now, it's unbelievable. It was kind of a scrappy game, a game we knew we had to win. Kelso, they're way improved, and they played us tough, especially in the second half. It could have been a tie. We knew it was going to be a tough ballgame. I have great respect for the coaches at North. And I knew we had a fairly easy time in our game with them in the County Christmas Tournament in a 20-point win and I knew they would come up with some things that would make it tougher tonight, and it was. It was close until right at the end. I'm just glad we got this road conference win.

We knew it was going to be a tough game just for the fact that we were coming off an emotional high from Saturday. Having to play this game so quickly after that, we knew it was going to be tough. We played a very good team, too.

I always wanted to get off the field as quick as I could. It's easier for everybody and it's more fun. I played behind Maddux a little bit (in Atlanta in 1998-99) and you knew that on any pitch, the (hitter) was going to put the ball in play. You enjoy the game a little bit more when you have a pitcher like that.

It looks like it's favorable, but it's not, ... Those teams have played us very well. It would be an absolute mistake for us to think this is favorable. Milwaukee's played us tough, and Pittsburgh's played us tough and the Cubs can play us tough. ... These guys will play us good, and we can not expect anything to be given to us. That's a fact.

They've played a tough schedule and they've been in every ballgame. We have to be on top of our game if we want to win.

We knew it was going to be a really tough game. It's always a tough game coming up here. Especially this year. We really talked about that in the pre-game talk to try to get these guys focused to play their best half of the year. I think we answered the bell.
